📐 Formula

new_rotation_distance = (current_rotation_distance × actual_extrusion) ÷ requested_extrusion

This formula calculates the correction factor needed to account for the difference between requested and actual filament extrusion. A properly calibrated extruder should extrude within ±2mm of the requested amount.
